Insight’s December update

Insight has completed their third scrutiny review of 2023, they looked to assess Great Places offer to support customers with the increasing costs of living. Members found customers who had received direct support from the Financial Resilience Team fed back positive comments saying the support had helped to manage finances and contact debtors. There were three recommendations identified for improvement following this review, which will be presented with findings to Board this month.

Members recently looked back on their achievements of the past year, which include the completion of two other scrutiny reviews, in addition to the Cost-of-Living support offer, these are:

In total the members have made fifteen recommendations, which were accepted by the service areas and presented with a video of findings to Board to provide a customers’ view of these services. You can find further detail on the Customer Scrutiny pages on our website. Insight keep track of progress of agreed actions via six-monthly updates from the service area.
