Insight has completed a scrutiny review of Great Places support offer to help customers manage and navigate challenges associated with the rising cost of living crisis. Our review findings demonstrated customers, who have engaged with support from the Financial Resilience Team had found it useful and feedback submitted has been extremely positive.

Customers scored satisfaction of feeling supported, an average of 9.2 out of 10.  Insight feels this level of satisfaction reflected the team’s commitment and hard work to support customers experiencing financial hardship, which was observed during review. This sentiment was shared with customers who provided the following Trustpilot reviews.

I was struggling with finances, the Financial Resilience Specialist was very helpful with rent and council tax, I can’t thank them enough, this was such a big help.

The Financial Resilience Specialist has been absolutely amazing providing support to our family, through a difficult time, thank you so much.

I couldn’t be happier with the help, I received – I was embarrassed to claim benefits, but I was made to feel human, again.

Insight will present their findings to Board in December, which will then be available on the Insight pages of our website. Members would like to thank all customers and colleagues who provided feedback or support to help inform their review.

The next service area Insight will scrutinise is scheme and neighbourhood management, which will look at Great Places approach to managing neighbourhoods to create safe, vibrant and sustainable communities where people want to make their home.
