Sally is a 63 year old customer with complex mental health needs. They had been living in residential care for two years, however each placement they secured ended up breaking down due to Sally wanting the chance to live independently.
Sally applied for a property at Tulloch Court and colleagues at the scheme liaised with support services to create a support package that would allow Sally to live more independently.
Sally has now moved in and is thriving in her new home. There are still bumps to overcome as the transition from residential care to independent living is not easy, however Sally is flourishing and enjoying her new independence.
Fran Isherwood, Independent Living Coordinator at Tulloch Court said: “I am very proud of Sally and everything they have overcome and achieved since moving into Tulloch. With the help of our support, they have been able to become much more independent and improve the quality of their life.”
