Our In-house construction company Terra Nova was delighted to support The Friends of Hollingworth’s Festival on the Green that took place at Wedneshough Green on 17 June.

A donation towards the local community group’s annual summer event, was made possible thanks to donations from key contractors working on Terra Nova’s Hollins Grange site in the local area, as part of their social value commitments. These included MBG Brickwork, MIM Joinery, Taurus Security, Sunnybank Plastering Limited, Heatcraft Plumbing, Helmrig Landscapes, Oakdale Electrical Contractors and Principle Roofing Ltd.

Support for fete was part of the site team’s ongoing community involvement in the past few months. This has included regular donations to the local foodbank, a new printer for the local church and Easter egg donations. In addition, Terra Nova is also raising funds to install a Defibrillator unit in the local area at the request of The Friends of Hollingsworth.

Part funded by Homes England and designed by Brewster Bye Architects, Hollins Grange will bring 57 much needed affordable homes to the local area. The site on Market Street in Hollingworth is a mix of two, three and 4-bed houses available for shared ownership and affordable rent. It also includes five apartments on the site of former Organ Pub available for affordable rent.

Alongside the entertainment, artisan market and a range of family activities, members of shared ownership specialists Plumlife Sales were on hand at the event to talk about our soon to be released new homes at Hollins Grange available for shared ownership. People could also register their interest in the new homes ahead of the sales launch later this year.

Commenting on the event, Paul Greenfield Head of Construction at Terra Nova, said:

“Social Purpose is key to Terra Nova’s work, and we were delighted to have been able to support this key event in the local community’s social calendar.

“It was also a great opportunity to meet with residents and talk about Hollins Grange that will bring much-needed additional affordable homes to the local area.”

Work is expected to completed in late summer 2024. Sales will be handled by shared ownership specialists, Plumlife Sales and customers can register their interest by calling 0161 447 5050 or emailing sales@plumlife.co.uk. They will then be notified when values and a sales launch are confirmed.
