As part of our Investment Programme for this year, we recently completed work at Foxlair Court our Retirement Living Scheme in Wythenshawe.
The £400k project, delivered in partnership with contractors TJM Projects, started in January last year and was completed in February this year.
It involved a significant refurbishment of the communal areas at the scheme including remodelling of the kitchen and lounge areas with new LED and carpeting. Renovation work also included the replacement of the fire-rated flat entrance doors, store doors and communal corridor doors. Corridors have also had a makeover thanks to new carpeting and decorations chosen in consultation with customers.
The work was not confined to internal improvements but continued outside with the creation of a new patio area to the rear of the scheme, new external lighting and an extension to the existing car park.
The works have been well received by customers at the scheme including Mrs Marion Heyes who on the new improvements said:
I’m really pleased with all the hard work carried and the transformation it has made. The lounge, kitchen and garden look beautiful and I can’t wait to use them.
