Customers from across Lancashire have been sharing gardening tips around communal food growing.
A group of customers from Bowland House in Blackburn travelled to Thorncross in Fleetwood where they met another Great Places customer who is running a similar project.
Aateeka Bashir, Community Partnership Manager, said:
We had a really good session with some peer-to-peer learning and residents sharing best practice regarding communal food growing. The Bowland House residents gained a real insight into how to set up and run the communal growing area.
We are setting up a return visit to Bowland House to provide some advice and guidance on how to start the garden project. There was has spawned a ton of enthusiasm and new ideas.
