Our recent £25,000 donation from Countryside Properties, one of our development partners, is set to make a big impact in our communities.
Alongside our £2000 donation to The Welcome Community Centre in Knutsford, we’ve donated a further £2000 to Blackburn Hub as part of our efforts to ensure we’re financially supporting organisations across all regions that we operate in. Blackburn Hub are proud to share that they will be using our donation for a specific project in partnership with Westholme School. The £2000 will allow them provide approximately 800 meals over the month of May to some of the most vulnerable families in the area.
The school are currently working with voluntary, community and faith-sector organisations to support families and elderly residents in need. The main way that they are helping people is by providing freshly-cooked meals to reduce some of the pressures people are currently facing with food poverty.
Our partnerships are important more than ever during times likes these. Being committed to helping customers during these challenging times, it’s fantastic to hear how our donations are positively affecting those most in need of support throughout this pandemic.
